Possible Embezzlement Reported at Sunset Hills Church

Sunset Hills Police Department reports on criminal activity, Aug. 6-12.

Embezzlement
Sunset Hills Police are currently investigating reports of embezzlement from Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 9907 Sappington Rd., which was called in on Aug. 10. No other information is available at this time.

Theft
Aug. 7: A woman caught shoplifting $57 in merchandise was charged with theft.
Aug. 7: Police issued a warrant for forgery related to a previous incident at AT&T, 10315 Watson Rd., around 9:11 a.m.
Aug. 9: A debit card was stolen from the 3600 block of Geyer Road around 3:49 p.m
Aug 9: Approximately $1,960 in jewelry was taken from an unlocked home on the 100 block of Monica Drive around 7:55 p.m.
Aug. 10: A purse and its contents valued at $295 were taken from a vehicle parked at Holiday Inn/Mile 277, 10709 Watson Rd., around 8:21 a.m.

Filing a false police report
Aug. 8: A man was charged with filing a false robbery report with police while on Hwy 30 eastbound near Rahning.

Peace disturbance
Aug. 10: Mile 277, 10709 Watson Rd., 11:38 p.m.

Fugitive arrests
Aug. 7: Road Ranger in Fenton, 9:54 a.m.
Aug. 10: Police Department, 10:29 a.m.
