Sunset Hills Woman Finds Burglar Underneath Her Car, Police Say

Cory S. Lenz told police he went into the garage only to sleep underneath the car.

A woman went out into her garage and found a strange man’s arm sticking out from underneath her car. The woman called 911 and Sunset Hills police said officers arrested the man running in the area.

Cory S. Lenz, 28, of Cedar Hill, was charged Sept. 20 with first-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing.

Sunset Hills Police said Lenz entered an attached garage in the 9300 block of Manoroak Drive. The contents of the car’s glove box was rifled, but the only thing missing was a bottle of water from a refrigerator in the garage, police said.
