Thieves Targeting Unlocked Vehicles

Reports from the Sunset Hills Police Department, June 24-July 2.

June 24: Items were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 12700 block of West Watson Road around 2:38 p.m.

June 26: Police made fugitive arrests on the 100 block of Floralea and the 200 block of Deane.

June 27: Items were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 13000 block of Saller around 3:10 p.m.

June 27: A resident on the 13000 block of Gravois reported their vehicle window was broken around 12:43 p.m., but no items were taken.

June 28: Police made a fugitive arrest at Highway 30 westbound at Interstate 270 around 1:37 a.m.

June 28: Items were taken from a locked vehicle on the 13000 block of Sunny Dawn around 5:23 p.m. There were no signs of damage to the vehicle caused by a forced entry, according to police.

June 29: Police charged an individual with a DWI on Interstate 270 northbound south of Highway 30 around 2:48 a.m.

July 2: A resident on the 0-100 block of Roosevelt reported a sound similar to fireworks or shots fired around 9 p.m.
