Westbound Interstate 44 Entrance Ramp at Elm Now Open
The ramp had been closed since July 30, but has opened about a week ahead of schedule.
Great news for motorists! The westbound Interstate 44 entrance ramp at Elm Avenue opened about a week ahead of schedule.
near the ramp that had deteriorated. The closure was expected to last about six weeks.
However, work is still needed in the area, MoDOT officials say. The work, expected to last until mid-October, would require closing the right lane on westbound I-44 at Elm, but the work would be performed during off-peak daytime hours.
