Crestwood Opens Quarry for Weekend Fishing

Catch bass, bluegill and catfish at Whitecliff Park two Saturdays in October.

The City of Crestwood’s Parks and Recreation Department will be opening the quarry in Whitecliff Park to anglers of all ages on two Saturdays this October; Oct. 6, 9 a.m.-noon, and Oct. 20 4-7 p.m.

We have a fish population that consists of bass, bluegill and catfish.  Artificial or live bait can be used, but no minnows, please. Participants will be able to leave with a maximum of six fish. Children age 12 and under must have an adult with them.

A current Missouri Fishing License is required for anyone ages 16 through 65, so please bring it with you when registering.

Tickets are on sale now for $6/Crestwood residents and $8/Non-residents at the Crestwood Community Center located in Whitecliff Park at 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane.
