A public hearing to discuss the allocation of $22,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds also will be held in June.

It looks like the next Sunset Hills Board of Aldermen meeting may have a full crowd. Notice has been given that a public hearing will be held Tuesday, June 5, regarding the Kennerly Road Rehabilitation Project.

All interested citizens will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning their views on the location and design of the new Kennerly Road, which will be between Weber Hill Road and Sappington. Topics discussed will be the economic and social effects of the location and design, its impact of the environment and its consistency with goals and objectives of the community.

The city's current project proposal consists of pavement widening, roadway surface rehabilitation, storm sewer improvements, accommodations for bicycle users, minor sidewalk extension on the southern portion of the project and safety improvements such as guard rails and rumble stripes.
