Long School Land Plan, Dog Boarding Facility Before Crestwood Aldermen

The Crestwood Board of Aldermen meets at City Hall Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Crestwood Board of Aldermen meets at 7 p.m. on March 26.

Here’s what’s on the agenda:

  • The board will hold a public hearing for a proposed dog daycare and boarding facility called Love Unleashed at 9221 Watson Industrial Park. The project received a recommendation from the city's planning and zoning commission last month. Weston Ackermann currently works at No Leash Needed in Valley Park. The proposed facility would include an indoor dog park and pop-up kennels for overnight accomodations.
  • A public hearing for preliminary plat approval of 9021, 9025 and 9029 Sappington Rd. and 9075 Doercrest Dr., to create one parcel for Lindbergh School District’s Long Elementary School. The school propose to expand its existing park lot, create field space, and construct a bus exit onto Doercrest Drive. The new traffic plan has drawn some resistance from residents in the Doercrest subdivision. The city’s planning and zoning commission approved the plan but advised the school district to reconsider the bus exit.
  • Fire Captain Timothy Broyles will be sworn into office
  • A public hearing for subdivision plat approval of 9401 Eddie & Park
  • A resolution to ensure that new names added to the Crestwood Veterans Memorial will be uniform with existing entries.
  • Resolution for legal defense in Bert Kimble v. City of Jefferson City
