Long-time Sunset Hills Planning and Zoning Chair Honored for City Service

Rodney Stecher served as the commission chair for 35 years.

After 35 years, former Planning and Zoning Commission Chair Rodney Stecher stepped down from his service in Sunset Hills.

Mayor Bill Nolan recognized Stecher at the Board of Aldermen meeting July 10, noting that the previous night's Planning and Zoning meeting was Stecher's last as chair.

"Think of where Sunset Hills was 35 years ago," Nolan said. "[Stecher] has been involved in all the developments and new businesses."
