MoDOT Prepares for Weekend Activities

Several downtown events may affect St. Louis County residents traveling into the city.

Motorists headed to the wineries in St. Charles County or fans attending the Cardinals or Rams games this Sunday need to use alternate routes as they head home. The westbound Boone Bridge on I-64/Route 40 will be closed Sunday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. while crews inspect the bridge.

Cardinal fans heading to Busch Stadium on eastbound I-70 for Thursday’s day game will not be able to use the I-70 reversible lanes. The lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday the next two weeks. Crews will be relocating utilities as part of the new Mississippi River bridge construction.

  ·    I-64, St. Louis City, eastbound 11th Street exit ramp closed weekdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  ·    I-64, St. Louis City, right lane at Chestnut closed starting Sept. 26 until mid October.

  ·    Grand Blvd, St. Louis City, closed from I-64 to Chouteau by St. Louis City until mid 2012.

  ·    Route 370, St. Louis County, narrowed exit lane from northbound Earth City Expressway to westbound Route 370.
