Please provide a brief summary of your background, highlighting community involvement: Member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ, Alderman Ward IV since 2008, Pool Advisory 22 years, Parks Board 19 years, Finance Committee 4 years, Public Works Committee 2 years, Capital Improvement Committee 1 year, Re-districting Committee 1 year, Lindbergh Leader from Lindbergh School District. All 4 children swam on the Sunset Hills Swim Team and attended Watson Trails Park Day Camp. I served as Sunset Hills Swim Team League Representative for 4 years and Sunset Hills Dive Representative for 3 years. 

Please provide a brief summary of your reasons for running: I feel very privileged to serve the City of Sunset Hills and want to continue to serve to help make the City an even better place to live and raise our families.

I am against tax-increment financing and against eminent domain for re-development projects. I want to continue to help the City move to an even more financially positive position while maintaining the high standard of living we have. 

What do you currently see as the biggest issue facing the City of Sunset Hills? The biggest issue facing the City of Sunset Hills to maintaining the residential areas while encouraging a balance of commercial.  

In what area does the city need to improve? Are you satisfied with the way the city has been operating? The City has been operating in a very positive position financially and I want to make sure we continue. 

Assume you win the election. What single thing do you want to accomplish during your time on the board? The single thing I want to accomplish in our City is to help the citizens with their concerns, questions and problems.   I return all phone calls, e-mails and requests as soon as possible and address each concern.
