Sunset Hills, Crestwood and Lindbergh School District All Meet Tonight

Top agenda items include Centrum's Crestwood Court proposal to the board, a public hearing on a community development block grant in Sunset Hills and recognition of school district members.

Tonight promises to be a trifecta of board meetings, and they prove that summer isn't just for vacation. The top item of the night surely will be Centrum's long-awaited proposal for the redevelopment project.

Botz, Deal & Co. will present the 2011 city audit. Employee benefits providers for the city also will be selected.

If the citizens of are ready to speak publicly, tonight is their chance. Public hearings will be allowed for several items, including rezoning of a 12-acre parcel along Gravois Road and a proposed expansion and renovation, which has been highly debated in the Planning and Zoning phase.

Allocation of $22,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds, which will become available after Jan. 1, also can be voiced during the public comments section of the agenda. 

Trattoria Toscana is applying for a business and liquor license, and JP'S Corner Sports Bar & Grill is asking permission to sell liquor at during the in August.

The Planning and Zoning Commission promises to change drastically as several new commission member appointments are on the agenda.

Officials in the will recognize students; schools and programs; citizens; board members; certified, classified and administrative personnel; Spirit Festival Volunteers; and Dr. Vic Lenz, somewhat of a wrap-up to the 2011-2012 school year. Citizens also will have a chance to make statements during tonight's meeting.
