Youth Springs Eternal - St. Louis Civic Orchestra Concert on Saturday, April 20

Join the St. Louis Civic Orchestra this Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 8 p.m. for their spring concert featuring local students!

The St. Louis Civic Orchestra invites you to join them for an exciting evening with young, local talent and great music as they present their spring concert this Saturday, April 20, 2013.


The concert will feature the extremely accomplished winners of the Florence Frager Young Artist Competition. Emily Spaugh, from Barnhart, MO, will be playing the Allegro from Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major; Ryan Firth, a Lindbergh High School student, will be presenting Movement I from Concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra by Ewazen; and Spencer Sharp, from Marion, IL, will be playing the Allegro non troppo from Symphonie espagnole in D Minor for Violin and Orchestra by Lalo.


The Civic will also perform the ‘Romantic’ Symphony No. 2 in D Major by Howard Hanson.

Performing in the William D. Purser Auditorium on the campus of Logan College in Chesterfield, the concert begins at 8 p.m. All are welcome! Adult tickets are available for $12, with tickets for seniors and students available for $7. Tickets are available at our website here: http://www.stlouiscivicorchestra.org/.
