Family Activities

There will be more family activities at the car show this year.  The Kid's Kruise returns after a one year hiatus.  Children 10 and under are invited to decorate their bike, trike, or other riding toy and bring it to Sunset Ford (11700 Gravois Rd.) at Noon on August 10th.  Children will "Kruse" together on track displaying their cool rides.  America's Incredible Pizza Co. will have attendance prizes for all participants and will award Best Decorated Vehicle prizes in two age groups.  AIPC mascot Iggy will be there to lead the Kruise and help pick the winners.
New this year will be carnival type games for the kids.  Ring Toss, Plinko and Football toss highlight the half-dozen games kids can play.  The games are free to play and there will be prizes for beating the game while supplies last.  The games will be run by Boy Scout Troop 331 who will also have sno-cones for sale.
Also new this year will be a Martial Arts demonstration by World Martial Arts Academy at 11:30 a.m. on the stage.  Come check out the discipline and force demonstrated by these young athletes.
There will be a Poker Run from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Get your Poker Run Card at the Registration Desk in the Car Show area and drive to seven local businesses to get your "hand".  Best five card hand wins prize valued at $175.  Lesser prize for worst hand also.  Classic Car not necessary to participate
If it is oldies music you like, come out and meet Sherry Farmer from KLOU 103.  She'll be on hand with the KLOU truck from Noon to 2:00 p.m.  They will be playing oldies music and doing fun games for KLOU prizes.
The entertainment concludes with a FREE live concert by The Ralph Butler Band from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.  Refreshments available, but bring lawn chairs.
As you can see there is fun for kids of all ages.  We hope you can make it.
