12 Lindbergh High School Students Make National Merit Semifinals

These students are in the running for a National Merit scholarship.

National Merit Scholarship Corporation released their list of semifinalists this week for scholarships to be awarded next spring.

The scholarships, granted to about 8,000 students total, are based on academic achievements of current high school seniors who took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) as a junior. Student scores and applications are considered in the selection process.

Out of about 16,000 semifinalists nationwide, 12 students are from the Lindbergh School District:

  • Kieran Bradford
  • Shravan Dommaraju
  • Ryan Firth
  • Katherine Hufker
  • Brenna Kizer
  • Bridget Kohl
  • Benjamin Ledeaux
  • Eric Lewis
  • Samuel Stephens
  • Caleb Codding
Scholarship recipients will be announced between April and July 2014.
