14 Lindbergh High School Seniors to Pursue International Baccalareate

The rigorous program would help distinguish college candidates during the selection process.

Fourteen Lindbergh High School seniors are pursuing the prestigious International Baccalaureate diploma in 2012-13, which they would receive upon graduation in May.

Students in the IB program must successfully complete six exams, a course in Theory of Knowledge, a 4,000-word extended essay, and a self-designed program of 150 creative, action and service hours.

Lindbergh is currently one of the only schools in St. Louis to offer IB courses, along with more common AP options.
