Englund Makes it Official, Back in Elected Office

Newest board of education director joins three incumbents in Lindbergh district, post-election.

Former state legislator Vicki Lorenz Englund joined the Lindbergh School District board of education Tuesday in a swearing-in ceremony, after her election April 5 from among six candidates.

Three incumbent directors were returned to school board office—Kathy Kienstra, Don Bee and Mark Rudoff. Englund came in third of six candidates behind first Kienstra and second Bee, for 3-year terms. Rudoff was unopposed for a one-year term vacated by Larry McIntosh.

Outgoing officer, President Ken Fey, read the oath of office to the four in one of two special meetings prior to the regular board meeting.
