Local restaurants will compete for the title of “Best Chili” at the Lindbergh Project Graduation 2013 Chili Cook Off, from 4-8 p.m., Jan. 6 in the Lindbergh High School cafeteria and commons. Guests pay just $5 to taste chili from all of the vendors present, and all proceeds benefit LHS Project Graduation 2013.
The cook off will be held in conjunction with the LHS boys basketball games against Marquette – 4 p.m.-freshmen, 5:30 p.m.-JV, and 7 p.m.-varsity – and the Lindbergh Basketball Alumni Night, which includes concessions and a sports memorabilia silent auction.
Project Graduation is an all-night drug and alcohol free celebration held the night of graduation, and includes games, activities, food, entertainment, music and prize giveaways. It is supported entirely by fundraising, donations and student event registration fees.
