Kindergartners at Lindbergh Schools Hunt For Gingerbread Man

The annual hunt is designed to familiarize new Kennerly elementary students with the layout of the school building.

Here's the latest report from Beth Johnston, director of communications for the Lindbergh School District:

kindergarten students in Kristine Parmeley’s class went on a scavenger hunt last week to find the Gingerbread Man and learn their way around the building. Parmeley leads the scavenger hunt each year to help her students become familiar with the school’s key locations.

Students read rhyming clues that lead them to the secretary’s, principal’s, nurse’s and counselor’s offices; art, gym and music classes; and the library. From there, they followed the Gingerbread Man to the playground and back to their classroom, where a sweet surprise was waiting.
