Lindbergh Athletes Sign on for College Play

It'll be a whole new game for Lindbergh seniors Jordan Harmon, Kaitlin Keltner, Elanor Lorenz, and Allison Schneider.

Congratulations to the following Lindbergh High School athletes, who signed letters of intent for college level play during the month of November:

Jordan Harmon, Austin Peay State – Clarksville, Tenn.

Jordan Harmon will play baseball for the Austin Peay State Governors following graduation.

Jordan, son of Jerry and Karen Harmon, has been playing baseball since he was 6 years old. His most memorable moment as pitcher for the Flyers was winning the district championships his freshman year.

In addition to athletics, Jordan is a member of DECA and National Honor Society, and a recipient of the JBA Award and Platinum Renaissance award. He plans to major in Economics at Austin Peay State, where he will play baseball for Coach Gary McClure.

Kaitlin Keltner, Univeristy of Arkansas-Little Rock

Kaitlin Keltner will join the Trojans swim team at University of Arkansas-Little Rock.

Kaitlin, daughter of Glenn and Marie Keltner, has been swimming for 13 years. Her most memorable sports moments as a Flyer have been swimming in state level competition for the past three years.

In addition to athletics, Kaitlin serves on Character Council, French Club, National Honor Society, and TryPOD. She plans to major in Pharmacy at University of Arkansas, where she will swim for coach Amy Burgess.

 

Eleanor Lorenz, Murray State University – Murray, Ky.

Eleanor Lorenz will play volleyball with the Murray State Racers next fall.

Eleanor, daughter of Tony and Diane Lorenz, has been playing volleyball for 11 years in the positions of libero and defensive specialist. She says her favorite memories are playing for the Flyers alongside her sister. In addition to sports, Eleanor is involved with French Club, Renaissance and Link Crew.

At Murray State, she will play for coach Dave Schwepker.

 

Allison Schneider, McKendree University – Lebanon, Ill.

Allison Schneider join the McKendree University Bearcats volleyball team.

Allison, daughter of Peggy and Dave Schneider, has been playing volleyball for seven years as an outside hitter. Her favorite high school sports moment was winning back-to-back district championships in 2012.

In addition to volleyball, Allison is a four-year Renaissance recipient and a member of DECA.

She plans to major in accounting at McKendree, where she will play volleyball for Coach Lisa Orlet.
