Lindbergh Board Candidate Filing Opens Dec. 11

Filing for two seats on Lindbergh Schools’ Board of Education opens on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  Filing closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013.  These two seats are for three-year terms. 

Candidates may file in the Superintendent’s Office between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  on Dec. 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28, 2012, and Jan. 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 14, 2013.  The office is closed on Dec. 24, 25, and 31, 2012, and Jan. 1, 2013.  On Jan. 15, 2013, the last day for filing, candidates may file between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Interested residents of the Lindbergh Schools who are United States citizens, 24 years of age or older, and have resided in Missouri one year preceding the election are eligible for candidacy.

The terms of Dr. Vic Lenz and Mrs. Kara Gotsch will expire.  The annual school election will be held on April 2, 2013.

Under the provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is equal to the number of positions to be filled by the election (two), no election will be held.  However, if the number of candidates filing exceeds the number of positions, the annual school election will be held on April 2, 2013.
