Lindbergh High School Student Recognized by Crestwood-Sunset Hills Chamber

The Crestwood-Sunset Hills Chamber of Commerce and this month's sponsor, Saale Chiropractic PC, represented by Dr. Mary Saale, honored Stephanie Lake of Lindbergh High School as the November 2012 Student of the Month.

Lake, who is a senior at Lindbergh, has earned a GPA of 3.923 and is ranked 10th in her class. She continually challenges herself by taking honors courses, including three in her senior year. Lake has been an accomplished member of the varsity poms all four years at LHS.

Along with her dedication to excellence in her education, Lake makes time to teach dance class to younger children three nights a week, teaches children each week at her church, and babysits for two families. Her community involvement finds her working at a soup kitchen, helping the elderly with housework, and supporting clothing drives in the community. During her summers, Lake is a lifeguard at the Sunset Hills pool.

After graduation from LHS, she plans to pursue a degree in math and hopes to teach at the middle school or high school level. 

Stephanie received a Chamber Certificate of Recognition, along with an Office Max gift card.
