Education: Completed B.A. in History from Texas Tech University. Currently a student herself at University of Missouri-St. Louis.

What's your most prized possession on your desk, in your office or workspace? I recently received a beautiful hand drawn print of the American Presidents.  It was a “first classroom” gift from my sister, so I love it.

Favorite year of school as a student: College

Favorite movie that takes place at a school: "The Last Picture Show"

Favorite non-required reading: McSweeney’s Quarterly Journal

When you’re not teaching, you’re ____:  Spending time with my two little girls and husband
