New position: Seventh grade at Truman Middle School; SSD co-taught, English and Learning strategies 

Professional background: Attended James Madison University for both undergraduate and graduate degree

What's your most prized possession on your desk, in your office or workspace? Pictures of friends and family

Favorite year of school as a student: Fourth grade (I had a really great teacher)

Favorite movie that takes place at a school: "The Breakfast Club"

Favorite non-required reading: Harry Potter Series
