New position: Lindbergh High School math teacher
Professional background: Graduated from Lindbergh High School in May 2007, and from Southeast MO State University in December 2011. I taught two Algebra 1 classes and tutored International Baccalaureate students at Lindbergh High School during the 2011-2012 school year. I also taught the fall ACT prep class.
What's your most prized possession on your desk, in your office or workspace? My students! I love getting to know and interacting with my students every day. They are funny, quirky, passionate, involved, and always teach me something new.
Favorite year of school as a student: Sophomore year! I was involved in multiple clubs and teams. I was more sociable, and really took advantage of every event I could go to.
Favorite non-required reading: “The Hunger Games” – action packed!!
When you’re not teaching, you’re ____: Hanging out my Chihuahua, Dash, or traveling and going on road trips!
What else would you like Lindbergh families to know? I coach Lindbergh’s dance team, the Flyerettes! I grew up in the Lindbergh district and love being a part of the family again. I love doing crafts, bright colors – purple especially and anything that involves flowers.
