Update: Lindbergh Schools Take Precautions for Students As St. Louis County Police Pursue Suspect

Students at Sperreng Middle School and Concord Elementary will remain inside as police search for an individual in Bohrer Park.

Students at Sperreng Middle and Concord Elementary schools in the Lindbergh School District are keeping students inside the buildings as St. Louis County Police search for a suspect around Bohrer Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Students were brought inside at 1:30 p.m., according to the district website, and all exterior doors are locked.

"We do not feel that any students are in danger, however, we are taking appropriate precautions to protect them," according to the website.


Updated 2:45 p.m.

"Students were never in any danger, and police have now indicated that it is safe for students to be dismissed from school following normal procedures," the school district wrote in an update.
