Lindbergh Spirit Fest Celebrates 21st Year

This year's parade kicked off with Truman's Dr. Jennifer Tiller, Missouri Middle School Principal of the Year, as Grand Marshal.

Lindbergh has spirit, yes they do. Saturday's 21st annual Spirit Fest proved that point with a parade starting at Sperreng Middle School. The parade route twisted down Concord School Road to Roxanna Drive and ended at . The 2012 Grand Marshal was Dr. Jennifer Tiller, Truman Middle School principal. Tiller was the .

Floats from each grade level followed the Lindbergh High School band, cheerleaders and local law enforcement officials, including a special treat—a St. Louis County Police Bomb and Arson Unit vehicle.

Laura Mueller has been attending Spirit Fest for more than 13 years. Her daughter is now a senior.

"This is my first year watching in a long time—I've always walked in it (the parade)," Mueller said. "The kids enjoy the rides and games, and it's a fun district thing. Each school group has a booth; it's good for different school groups to come together."

Once the parade was over, patrons enjoyed games, rides, food and entertainment in the Lindbergh High School parking lot throughout the course of the day.
