"I want to congratulate the class of 2012 for completing this part of their educational journey," Westminster President, Dr. George B. Forsythe, said at commencement. "The decisions they made, the challenges they faced, the relationships they built and the role models who taught them at Westminster have all prepared them for the successful life that lies ahead of them. They are now ready to take their place as Westminster graduates, making a difference in the world wherever they find themselves."

Commencement speaker for the day was former U.S. Senator John C. Danforth.

"You don't have to be in politics to change the world," Danforth advised the graduates. "You just have to be a good person."
