Sperreng, Truman Students Break Top 30 at National Geography Bee

Eighth graders Rounak Bera and Nate Blackwell participated in the National Geography Bee.

Two Lindbergh School District eighth graders participated in the National Geography Bee in Moberly on April 6, according to a news release from the school district:

Sperreng eighth-grader Rounak Bera finished in 12th place;

Truman eighth-grader Nate Blackwell finished in the top 30.

The students competed against 100 Missouri middle school students, according to the release. Both had to place first in their respective school-level contests.
