Truckload of Warmth Winter Clothing Drive Ends This Week

Kennerly, Sperreng, and Truman students collected several boxes of winter clothing to Two Men and a Truck's warm clothing collection drive. You can still drop off your gently used clothes this week!

Kennerly Elementary School K-Kids and the Sperreng and Truman middle school Builders Clubs collected several boxes of coats, hats, gloves, scarves, boots and socks throughout September for Two Men and a Truck's annual “Truckload of Warmth” campaign. All of the donations will be given to Operation Homefront, which helps military families in need.

Truckie, the Two Men mascot, arrived Oct. 10 in a large moving truck to pick up the students’ donations. This is the second year that the K-Kids and Builders Club have teamed up with the company to collect warm items for Missouri military families.

Residents with gently-used men's, women's and children's clothing may drop off their donations through this Thursday, Oct. 17 at Two Men and a Truck, 10966 Gravois Industrial Ct. The movers can also recommend nearby businesses who are partnering in the effort.
