Dr. Jennifer Tiller was selected by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.

Dr. Jennifer Tiller is truly a "pal" amongst Missouri middle school principals. She was named by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals as the 2012 Missouri Middle School Principal of the Year.

She was recognized for her impact in areas of collaborative leadership and curriculum, instruction and assessment; and her personalization of the learning environment. More than 400 middle school principals across the state competed for the award.

Tiller is principal of in the Lindbergh School District and led the District's successful transition to two middle schools in 2010-11 when she was principal of Sperreng Middle School. In 2011 Sperreng split into two smaller middle schools thanks to Tiller's leadership. It was previously the largest middle school in Missouri with 1,350 students.
