Twenty-Three Retire From Lindbergh

The retirees served more than 600 years combined.

More than 600 years of experience has left the Lindbergh School District. Twenty-three retrees were honored during a Staff Recognition Ceremony this week. The longtme employees who served the district were recognized for their dedication to Lindbergh and commitment to the success of the community's children. 

This year’s retirees include:

  • Sandra Leigh, library processing
  • Rick Nelson, walking counselor
  • Deborah Nelson Linck, kindergarten teacher
  • Dr. Russ Payne, Special School District teacher
  • Allen Russell, Sperreng science teacher
  • William Thoele, Sperreng art teacher
  • Carol Venhaus, SSD teacher
  • Janet Whitehead, Kennerly Elementary School and Truman librarian
  • Dr. Rick Francis, assistant superintendent of personnel
  • Tom Beauchamp, LHS science teacher
  • Janet Gallagher, SSD teacher
  • Cheryl Hoffmeyer, Concord Elementary School speech pathologist
  • Brenda Kalter, Kennerly custodian
  • Elaine Kimker, LHS family and consumer science teacher
  • Kevin Kundert, SSD teacher
  • Janet Barber, Long fourth grade teacher
  • Bonnie Eisenhart, Kennerly building assistant
  • Terri Street, Sperreng building assistant
  • Rick Hennes, LHS custodian
  • Nancy Tumbrink, SSD teacher
