I'm Cheering the Terrorist is Dead

A Sunset Hills Alderman is proud to publicly applaud "mission accomplished" by Navy SEAL Team 6.

I love every branch of the armed services and applaud the efforts and success of the Navy SEAL Team assembled who completed a task set out from the direction of Pres. Bush after 911. I don't really care if Pres. Obama gets credit for the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden. I am just glad the Navy SEALs made certain they had the right target, which just so happened to have caught Osama bin Laden in the head—excellent placement—all that training that the American tax dollars paid for, was worth every penny.

I am not ashamed or afraid that my comments will offend anyone or for that matter any supporters of the Osama bin Laden groups. Plus, I am not afraid if my comments are viewed as politically incorrect. I have my opinion and every branch of the military insures I have the right to my own opinion.

May 5th is the National Day of Prayer around the country. I cannot be at City Hall for the gathering this year, but I will take several minutes to pray and give thanks for all the gifts God has blessed us with, which I believe are more than we deserve, but are always well received. Also, I will pray for the health of my family, the health and welfare of our citizens, the favorable future of our country and wisdom for our leaders and safety for all of our armed services. One last selfish prayer is for the continued safety of the Navy SEAL Team and for the eyesight and aim of the Navy SEAL that put two well-placed bullets in the head of Osama bin Laden...AMEN.
