JOPLIN is Healthy in Spirit!

I had the opportunity to travel to Joplin this past Monday and Tuesday to help with one of our offices in the Tornado area.  Our Sunset Hills Tornado area looks pristine compared to the almost 1-mile wide by 6-mile long area of devastation.  I know that large of an area sounds bogus, but I stood in the center of that area and literally, as far as I could see was dirt, mounds of rubble and neatly defined streets.  I heard many stories of what happened and how people responded to help each other.  A few stories made me hold the lump down in my throat and quickly wipe the tears from my eyes.  I also heard many, many stories of how neighbors helped neighbors and strangers helped strangers...the same type of overwhelming generosity that took place here.  That was the good part...that made me feel at home in a way.  There's still alot of good people around Sunset Hills, Joplin and just about everywhere else...
