Lindbergh High Cross Country Teams Dominate Districts

Congratulations to the Lindbergh High School boys and girls cross country teams, both of whom brought home district titles this weekend following their meets in Jackson, Mo. on  Saturday.

The boys cross country team won its seventh consecutive district championship, with team members placing sixth, seventh, eighth, 11th and 23rd to defeat second place Fox and eight other teams. Team members include Tommy Skosky, Kyle Pieper, Tyler Gloss, Spencer Bankhead, Sam Bankhead, Ben Berry, Kyle Mrotek and Phil Snowbarger.

Meanwhile, the Lady Flyers won their third district title in four seasons, beating out second-place Rockwood Summit by three points, and prevailing over nine other schools who were contending.

Both teams will compete in the Sectional championships this Saturday at Parkway Central.
