Sunset Hills Native Heads to Lucas Oil American Sprint Series

Brad Loyet has been racing in motorsports for more than a decade.

Sunset Hills native Brad Loyet is headed to the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National on Saturday.

He and the Vacuworx/Miller Truck Lines #o5 team raced in the Knoxville Nationals last week and ended in the C, according to HardCoreRaceFans.com.

The Lucas Oil series will take place at the Salina High Banks Speedway in Oklahoma.

Loyet qualified on Thursday with a time that earned him the 39th position.

He is currently on the national tour with ASCS as the driver of the o5 Loyet Motorsports 360-cubic inch sprint car. He has been racing for more than a decade. For more on Loyet, click here.
