VIDEO: Jill Harmon Leaps for Last State Track Meet
The Lindbergh senior will jump for the last time at the state meet in Jefferson City Friday and Saturday.
For three years, Lindbergh senior Jill Harmon has competed among the best at the Class 4 State Track Meet in Jefferson City. But this Friday and Saturday will be her last time before joining the track team at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Harmon placed first in the triple jump and second in the long jump at the sectional track meet, qualifying with 36 feet, 7½ inches and 17 feet 3 inches, respectively.
Last year at state, she placed fifth in the triple jump and 11th in the long jump.

The senior is joined by junior Jordan Yanker, who is also competing in the triple jump.
