Want to Volunteer for the Vietnam Wall While It's at Lindbergh High School?

The Show-Me Hero Salute organization is seeking volunteers to serve around the clock June 12-16 at the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which will be on display at Lindbergh High School, according to a news release from the school district.

Learn more about the opportunity, from the Lindbergh School District:

The American Veterans Traveling Tribute is a scaled replica of the Vietnam Wall in Washington, D.C., and is free and open to the public 24 hours a day.

The Show-Me Hero Salute committee is in need of volunteers to assist with various events throughout the duration of the display, which will be open 24 hours a day beginning at 12 p.m., June 12 and ending at 3 p.m., June 16.

Volunteers will provide a valuable service to the thousands of veterans and Americans who visit the wall during its stay at LHS. If you are able to serve any amount of time – a few hours or a few days – please contact committee members Joyce Franklin, at jfran1267@gmail.com, or Butch Thomas, at 314-281-1885.
