Friends of Father Dickson Cemetery is located at Big Bend and Sappington Road. This is one of the earliest public cemeteries available to black people. Friends of Father Dickson Cemetery is considered a historic site and some of the famous people who have been buried here are Father Moses Dickson, an abolitionist, John Vashon, an attorney, James Milton Turner, an educator, and Henry Lewis, known as the Steamboat.
