Courts Charge Victim's 'Friend' Accused of ATM Robbery

A man accused of robbing a friend at knifepoint after police said he forced her to drive to a Bank of America ATM on Watson Road, was charged recently in St. Louis County Circuit Court, according to a Sunset Hills police spokesman. Chevelle Howard was charged with one count of robbery first degree, one count of assault first degree, three counts of armed criminal action and two counts of felonious restraint, officials said. The victim, a young woman who was not identified by local police, told police that Howard forced her at knifepoint to drive to an ATM at 10230 Watson Rd. in Sunset Hills, and withdraw cash.
