Light Up the Grill, Don't Light Up the Fireworks
The Crestwood Fire Dept. shares some tips on grilling safety this July 4, and reiterates the illegality of using fireworks.
This year, the case is the same: Using fireworks is illegal in St. Louis County. So unless you're heading out to Jefferson County or unincorporated areas this Fourth of July holiday, it's suggested to go see a legal show of pyrotechnics. "In fact, with as dry as it has been over the past weeks we would advise to be extra cautious with all types of sources of ignition and forego setting off fireworks," said Mark Menning, Crestwood Fire Dept. assistant chief and fire marshal.
