A man forced his way into a women’s restroom at a Sunset Hills gas station Thursday, assaulted his girlfriend and stole her purse, police said. Christopher Memhardt, 36, of the 1000 block of Sanford Avenue in the city of St. Louis, was charged Friday with second-degree domestic assault and second-degree robbery. Sunset Hills Police said the two were arguing, and the woman got out of the car to use the restroom at the BP gas station at 4504 Lindbergh Blvd. Memhardt forced his way into the restroom and punched the woman repeatedly in the face, police said. Memhardt then took her purse off her shoulder and drove away, according to the report. Police said Memhardt still had the purse when he was arrested, but the woman’s cell phone and cash …
American Red Cross and St. Louis Rams representatives teamed up to send greetings to active military, their families and veterans in homes and hospitals. Rams defensive end Chris Long volunteered to be Holiday Mail for Heroes honorary chair.
With help from supporters, volunteers and sponsors, the American Red Cross delivers holiday cards to those serving in active-duty as well as veterans within the United States and around the world. In 2011, more than 1.35 million cards went to troops deployed overseas and stationed locally, stated Red Cross St. Louis communications specialist Denise Nazzaro. This year, partnering with the St. Louis Rams, the St. Louis Red Cross Area Chapter hopes to collect 25,000 signed cards, she said. Through Nov. 30, people can drop off signed cards at most local Hardees restaurants, BP stations and any Red Cross office. 36-years old...I think by now we can all agree this "thing" will be a worthless loser until he finally departs Earth, only after collecting lots of entitlement program money.
