The United States Department of Education's Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private elementary, middle, and high schools that are either high performing or have improved student achievement to high levels, especially among disadvantaged students. Eight schools in Missouri have received this prestigious nomination. Lindbergh High School Principal Dr. Ron Helms thanked Board of Educationmembers for their support during the Dec. 11 meeting, and presented them with the school’s National Blue Ribbon awards from the United States Department of Education.
