Blotter: Customer Flees Checkout Line With Two PlayStations

Crestwood Police Department reports on law enforcement and criminal activity, March 11-31.

March 12: A suspect at Best Buy waited in line with two PlayStations, but when their turn came, fled the store. The game consoles were valued at $699, according to police. March 12: A Conover guitar, television, shoes and clothing were stolen from a residence. Police said the items belonged to a resident getting kicked out of his house. His friends were questioned about the theft but claimed they did not know where the items are. March 18: A pair of shoplifters stole $135 in clothing from Gordmans. March 20: Jim Butler Auto Sales reported they accepted a bad $900 check in December 2012. March 20: Two credit cards were reported stolen on Banyon Tree Court. Jefferson County Man Indicted for Stealing Father's Pickup Truck; Friend Also Indicted for Assault

Police said the owner tracked the truck to a Crestwood retail parking lot and confronted the men, who drove off as he was hanging onto the truck's door handle. The father suffered a broken leg.

A Jefferson County man was indicted by a St. Louis County grand jury Dec. 5 for stealing his father’s pickup truck, while his friend was indicted for stealing the truck and second-degree assault. St. Louis County prosecutors said the two men, Nicholas Doane, 19, of the first block of Wampler in Jefferson County near Arnold, and Anthony Passiglia, Anthony Passiglia, 28, of Arnold, stole Doane’s father’s truck on Oct. 5. Doane’s father used a cell phone app to track the truck to a Kohl’s department store parking lot in Crestwood, where he confronted the two men and demanded his truck back. Blotter: Prescription Medication Stolen from Resident's Doorstep

Crestwood Police reports on law enforcement and criminal activity, Nov. 2-9.

A resident on Crestwood Manor said prescription medication was taken from their doorstep on Nov. 7. The U.S. Post Office confirmed delivery of the individual's medication, which was gone when the resident went to retrieve the package.  Someone took 11 pieces of tubular steel from the stroage lot of a business on Grant Road on Nov. 3. The tubes were valued at $1100, police said. A customer drove off without paying for their gas at Mobil on the Run, 9950 Big Bend Blvd. A duffle bag and purse were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Tea Rose on Nov. 8. Police were able to recover the items. Someone took a six-gallon gas can from a resident's deck on Missy on Nov. 8.

Blotter: Shoplifter Leaves Kohl's With $1,800 in Merchandise

Crestwood Police Department reports on criminal activity and law enforcement, Sept. 29-Oct. 5.

Sept. 29: A man at Whitecliff Park, who claimed he gave his friends his wallet to watch temporarily, said he discovered money missing when it was returned. Oct. 1: A shoplifter walked out of Kohl's, 9701 Watson Rd., with $1,800 in merchandise. The haul included two sets of bed sheets and a watch, according to Crestwood Police. Oct. 2: Several tools, including a circular saw, drill kit, and drill bits, were taken from a home being renovated on Joann Place. The items were taken sometime between Sept. 27-Oct. 1. Oct. 2: A customer walked out of Schnuck's, 9540 Watson Rd., with a bottle of Smirnoff vodka, a bottle of Grey Goose vodka, and a bag of Combos. Oct. 3: A customer left without paying at Mobil on the Run, 9950 Big Bend Blvd.

Blotter: Bitter Ex-Roommate Walks Out Door With Resident's Phone, Cash

Crestwood Police reports on law enforcement and criminal activity, Sept. 21-28.

Sept. 23: An individual walked out of a grocery store on Watson Road with four bottles of Absolut vodka and a bottle of Crown Royal.  Sept. 25: An ex-roommate took a resident's cash, smartphone, and DVD burner on his way out the door of a home on Liggett. Sept. 25: Someone attempted to pry open the door of a business on the 8800 block of Watson Road, but were unsuccessful.  Sept. 25: A customer drove off without paying at the Shell station, 8600 Watson Rd. Sept. 27: A customer drove off without paying at Mobil, 9950 Big Bend Rd.
