Police: Couple Stole Items Worth $20,000 in Crestwood, Glendale

The man faces criminal charges in Ladue for stealing jewelry, silver worth $200,000.

A man charged with stealing jewelry valued at more than $200,000 in Ladue also faces stealing related charges in Glendale and Crestwood. His girlfriend also is charged with stealing. Justin Roux, 22, of the 200 block of Clayton Oaks Drive in Ellisville, was charged Sept. 7 with stealing in Glendale and Sept. 10 with receiving stolen property in Crestwood. Roux’s girlfriend, Tracy Rockwell, 22, of the 9100 block of Grant Farm Trail in Crestwood, also was charged Sept. 10 with stealing. Crestwood Police said she stole two sets of Sterling silverware, valued at $15,000, and a silver necklace, valued at $600, from a home on Paul Adrian Drive between May 10 and June 13. Ann, now that she's in custody they have her fingerprints. Might be too late to have any surface at your home testing though. My experience with this type is that they are serial thieves, often feeding drug habits by fencing these stolen goods. It is certainly a possibility this "team" robbed you.   more ›

Block Parties Abound for Crestwood's National Night Out

The Crestwood Neighborhood Watch Committee will award one of these parties for best representing the event's goals of crime prevention and community interaction.

The City of Crestwood is hosting its National Night Out on Wednesday evening, and there are about 14 scheduled block parties to celebrate, according to Crestwood police. Crestwood Neighborhood Watch will be issuing the “Lights on Against Crime” challenge to residents to participate and show their support for crime prevention in Crestwood, according to a release from the department. This “challenge” is designed to select a party from the community that best represents the goals of Crestwood Night Out crime prevention, and specifically preventing crime through enhancing bonds in the community. Crestwood Police Blotter: Olay Body Wash Theft, Car Stolen and Recovered

The Crestwood Police Department provided the following list of incidents reported in the area for July 7-13: Sunday, July 8 Jewelry and cash were reported taken from a residence on Conover Lane. Monday, July 9 At Walgreens, a theft of 20 bottles of Olay body wash was reported. A gray 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse was reported stolen on Highway 44. The vehicle was found July 10, recovered in St. Louis City. Tuesday, July 10 On Acorn Drive, a rock was thrown through a residence window. The same residence also reported all four tires punctured on a vehicle. Wednesday, July 11 A front license plate was reported missing from a vehicle on Samoa Drive. Thursday, July 12 A speed limit sign was noted damaged in Whitecliff Park.
