Crestwood Police Blotter: Property Damages, Drive-offs and Shoplifting

Reports from Crestwood Police on area enforcement and criminal activity.

The Crestwood Police Department provided the following list of incidents reported in the area for June 8-15: Saturday, June 9 Kohl's reported clothing items were stolen in a shoplifting case. Sunday, June 10 A car stereo was stolen from the backseat of a car on Meadowfern Drive. Property damage was reported on a vehicle on Norcross Drive. Paint scratches were found on the car. Mobil on the Run at Big Bend called in two gas drive-offs between June 10 and 11. Monday, June 11 A shoplifting incident at Gordman's involved four stolen pairs of khaki shorts. At a house on Tahiti Drive, a cut window screen incited a call-in for property damage.

The Sunset Hills police report was compiled from incident reports between May 16-31. Saturday, May 26 A fugitive was arrested during a traffic stop on Kennerly Road. Sunday, May 27 A stealing was reported at Sunset Hills Golf Club. Monday, May 28 Trespassing and destruction of property was reported at Mini Ha Ha Park. Tuesday, May 29  A suspicious incident was reported at Fuddrucker's in Sunset Hills Plaza. Tampering with a vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Windward Ridge. Wednesday, May 30 Stealing was reported at the 12000 block of Maurer Industrial Ct. Trespassing was reported at the 11000 block of Gravois. Saturday, May 12 A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Deane Court. A person was put in protective custody. Sunday, May 13 A peace disturbance was reported at a home in the 170 block of Deane Court. The Sunset Hills Golf Club at 13366 West Watson Road and Truman Middle School at 12225 Eddie & Park Road both reported suspicious incidents. Photos: Police Looking for Kmart Robbery Suspect

The victim was robbed at gunpoint on Friday.

St. Louis County Police released photos of four individuals they suspect of robbing a victim at gunpoint on Friday morning at the Kmart on Lemay Ferry Road. One suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall with short hair and eyeglasses. The other three are described as black males in their late teens or early 20s.  Police said the 37-year-old woman was retrieving something from the backseat of her car when the suspects stole her purse and displayed a semi-automatic handgun.  The suspects were last seen traveling south on Lemay Ferry Road in a green, early 2000s Chevrolet Impala with a sunroof and spoiler. Sunset Hills Police Blotter: Multiple Fugitive Arrests, Assaults

The following is reported crime through Wednesday, April 18.

The Sunset Hills Police Department saw its share of crime this week. The following is reported crime through Wednesday, April 18.  Police arrested a fugitive during a traffic stop April 7 in the 10000 block of Watson Road.  On April 8, police arrested a fugitive after a peace disturbance call at a business in the 3600 block of South Lindbergh Boulevard. Within one minute of each other, there were two fugitive arrests during traffic stops on April 9. The first was at Sappington Road and South Lindbergh Boulevard. The second was in the 4500 block of South Lindbergh Boulevard. Two fugitives were arrested on April 10 during traffic stops. The following is the Crestwood and Sunset Hills police departments' crime reports from Feb. 9-21   Crestwood There were five thefts, three shopliftings, stealing from a car, a stolen license plate and a stolen bowling ball, all from places along Watson Road. Feb. 20- There was a report of property damages on the south section of town where 14 mailboxes had been damaged. Deputy Chief Frank Arnoldy reports that they look like they had been hit with a baseball bat.
