Where in St. Louis do you plan to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Baltimore Ravens for Super Bowl 47?
It's already being called the Harbowl: a Super Bowl clash between San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh. The Harbaughs are the first pair of brothers to work as head coaches in the NFL, and they'll square off for Super Bowl 47 on Feb. 3. This year, Missouri has a few connections to the big game. Locally, St. Louis resident Joe Larrew has been selected as an official for the Super Bowl, Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Veterans from the University of Missouri football program also are represented on each team: 49ers defensive ends Aldon Smith and Justin Smith and Ravens coach Ted Monachino all played at Mizzou, and Ravens offensive line coach Andy Moeller previously coached …

Syberg's is updating the shark-themed family favorite.
Customers at Syberg's restaurants will soon notice some updates. Syberg's on Gravois is expanding to fill out their home in the 7800 block of Gravois. All five restaurants owned by the chain, including Helen Fitzgerald's in Sunset Hills, will introduce new menus. Details aren't final for Syberg's on Gravois, said marketing manager Tracy Stamper, but the plan is to expand the bar and restaurant, possible making an indoor/outdoor bar. The restaurant chain hopes to finalize details by the end of the month. "The plan is pretty cool," Stamper said. Helen Fitzgerald's isn't the only Lindbergh Boulevard restaurant to see a menu upgrade in the past few months. Some customers grumbled over changes to the Growler's menu earlier this fall, while new …

St. Louis ranks No. 6 in a list of best places to party for St. Patrick's Day.
St. Louis may only be 8.6 percent Irish, but when St. Patrick’s Day comes around, that number seems to shoot up to 100 percent. Shindigz, a party supply website, named St. Louis the No. 6 place in the country to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day based on our Michelob 5 Mile Run, which will host more than 13,000 runners this year, as well as the St. Patty’s Day parade with balloons, Irish dancers, horses and floats. Sunset Hills even has an Irish "party corridor," with Helen Fitzgerald's, O'Leary's and Growler's Pub within a mile of each other. About 11 percent of the United States identifies as Irish, according the census data quoted in a Shindigz press release. St. Louis’ Irish population is slightly lower than the average at 8.6 percent, …

Event chairperson Laura Wulf vows to keep raising money until childhood cancer is cured.
There are 512 people walking around today with a sudden loss of hair on their heads—and more than likely they couldn’t be prouder. Saturday Helen Fitzgerald’s hosted the 9th annual St. Baldrick’s event, the biggest one to date. St. Baldrick’s began on St. Patrick’s Day in 2000, when four Irish reinsurance executives turned their industry party into a head-shaving event to benefit kids with cancer. Back then 20 people vowed to have their heads shaved and raise a goal of $17,000. Little did they know they would raise more than $104,000 in their first year. “It shows how just four people can truly make a difference,” Laura Wulf, event chairperson said while addressing the crowd. Now St. Baldrick’s is the world’s largest volunteer-driven …

ViewFinder is a weekly collection of photos taken by Patch contributors around our two cities. We look forward to posting pictures from more residents as time goes on. The easiest way is to email them to jean.whitney@patch.com any time, day or night, and we'll post them Thursday noon-ish. In other news, HUNGER STRIKE. But seriously, the first person to send a photo I can post here, wins a FREE Patch aluminum water bottle. Don't make me go on strike. The offer stands (for the water bottle) until I get a photo from Patch users. Follow the call for photos and winner on twitter.com/suncrestpatch
