The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn - Part 2: Midnight Premiere, Showtimes

It's the end of an era this week for Twihards around the world. Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the final installment of the Twilight Saga, premiers this week in theaters across the country, and South County is no exception. The vampire and werewolf-packed finale starts Thursday at Ronnie's at 10, 11, and 11:59 p.m. Regular showtimes at Ronnie's start Friday, Nov. 16, and multiple times are available to movie-goers. Tickets can be purchased on Fandango.  In addition to showings of Part 2 at 10 and 12 p.m., Great Escape at Gravois Bluffs will kick off a Twilight saga marathon at 12:30 p.m.

Skyview Theater has the only drive-in movies in the St. Louis metro area—and it's well worth the quick trip to Belleville, IL to see a movie under the stars.

Where can you see a summer blockbuster in your lawn chair while drinking an icy cold brew and munching on pizza, for ten dollars a ticket? No, we’re not talking about your backyard. We’re talking about the last drive-in theater in the St. Louis Metro area—the Skyview Drive-In in Belleville, IL. The Skyview Theater is 30 miles, or about 40 minutes from Sunset Hills and Crestwood. It is located at 5700 North Belt West in Belleville. The Skyview opened its doors way back in the summer of 1949 when drive-ins were commonplace. The theater still has its original projection booth, and we suspect, the original bathrooms. The screen was replaced in 1981 after a windstorm knocked it down, and around that time the sound system was converted to play …
