The fast food chicken joint got the OK from the Sunset Hills Board of Aldermen on Tuesday. It will be the eighth location for the chain in St. Louis.
Chick-Fil-A's chicken sandwiches are coming to Sunset Hills next year. The fast food chain received unanimous approval from the city's Board of Aldermen to demolish and occupy a portion of the former Regions Bank building at 10722 Sunset Hills Plz., joining a Panda Express, Great Clips and Mattress Firm. A Chick-Fil-A representative said the new restaurant should be open in 2013. The new space will have seating for 132 customers, an indoor play area, and two lanes to accomodate a large drive-thru audience. The store would be open 6:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
