St. Louis Bread Co. Expands Sunset Hills Headquarters

Panera's corporate headquarters purchased more than 30,000 square feet of additional space.

St. Louis Bread Company recently leased more than 30,000 square feet of space to expand their headquarters in Sunset Hills' Laumeier Office Park, CoStar Group reports. Bread Co. is known as Panera Bread nationally. Athletic shoe company New Balance recently announced they would be bringing a call center to the office park. Try St. Louis Bread Co.'s Diet-Friendly Secret Menu Items

Panera Bread recently debuted a series of high protein, slow carb options on a 'hidden menu,' according to Riverfront Time's Gut Check.

Local Businesses to Host Family Fun Events this Summer

Board of Aldermen approved several requests to hold events in this week’s meeting.

Sunset Hills’ Board of Aldermen unanimously agreed to allow Mile 277 at the Holiday Inn Viking, Panera, LLC and Smugala’s host their upcoming summer events. A representative from each business answered members’ questions regarding possible security, parking and noise level concerns in this week’s meeting. Alderman Art Havener asked Keith Rhodes, co-owner of Mile 277, to further explain Thunder Alley’s, a local security company, experience in patrolling events at the venue. Alderman Thomas Musich inquired about parking availability, history of noise disturbances and the safety of the tents used during events. Two Crestwood Residents Place in Saint Louis Bread Co. Sandwich Showdown

Starting tomorrow, the winner of the Saint Louis Bread Co. Sandwich Showdown contest won’t be the only one preparing her creation. The winning sandwich, the BLTT (bacon, lettuce, tomato with a twist) will be available at all 48 local Bread Co. bakery-cafes until Jan. 31. A portion of each sale is going to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Lauren Day of Marthasville, Mo. was one of almost 800 entrants who submitted an original sandwich recipe back in August for the fourth annual event. Five finalists were chosen after online voting narrowed down the competitors. Their sandwich recipes were offered in an Oct. 26 tasting at the Contemporary Art Museum where 150 MyPanera customers voted for their favorite.
