A man forced his way into a women’s restroom at a Sunset Hills gas station Thursday, assaulted his girlfriend and stole her purse, police said. Christopher Memhardt, 36, of the 1000 block of Sanford Avenue in the city of St. Louis, was charged Friday with second-degree domestic assault and second-degree robbery. Sunset Hills Police said the two were arguing, and the woman got out of the car to use the restroom at the BP gas station at 4504 Lindbergh Blvd. Memhardt forced his way into the restroom and punched the woman repeatedly in the face, police said. Police still seek others involved in the May 11 and May 12 crimes in Mehlville, Crestwood and Shrewsbury.
One man has been charged with robberies in the Mehlville Kmart and Crestwood Kohl’s parking lots May 11 and May 12. Another man has been arrested in connection with the robberies. Markele D. Prince, 17, of the 4500 block of Rosewood Avenue in Jennings, has was charged Thursday with two counts each of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. St. Louis County Police said a woman was retrieving something from her car in the Mehlville Kmart parking lot, 3901 Lemay Ferry Road, on May 11 when two men displayed a semi-automatic handgun and stole her purse. A woman was charged with abducting a man in Webster Groves in June 2009 and forcing him to withdraw money from his bank account at various locations, including a Sunset Hills bank. Keesa A. Deere, 39, of the 3800 block of Shenandoah in St. Louis, was charged Friday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with kidnapping and first-degree robbery. According to a Sunset Hills Police report, Deere and a man abducted their victim in a parking lot at 4 South Old Orchard Ave. in Webster Groves. The two told the man they had a gun but would not harm him if he cooperated, police said in the report. The victim was told to get in the car with the Deere and the other man. The subject was possibly seen getting into a red or maroon minivan heading eastbound on Watson Road.
At 1:15 p.m. Monday, a man approximately 30 years of age entered the M&I Bank at 9206 Watson Road. According to Crestwood Police, the subject approached a teller, displayed a note and told her to "give me all of your money; no dye bags, now." The note also had this written on it. The teller gave the subject an undetermined amount of money. The subject then ran from the building and ran eastbound. He was possibly seen getting into a red or maroon minivan and headed eastbound on Watson. No injuries were reported. Check back with Patch for more information on this late-breaking news.

Bryon Gullion, who allegedly struck the PNC Bank on Watson in mid-December, is suspected of robbing several area banks.
Wednesday, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Bryon Gullion, 35, with robbery in the first degree. Gullion, of Mexico, Mo., is being held on a $50,000 cash bond. The Maplewood Police Department aided the investigation on Gullion, who was found in Richmond Heights. Both the FBI and Richmond Heights police officers helped apprehend the suspect. St. Louis County police refer to Gullion as the "Logo Hat Bandit," and he will face additional charges in the municipalities where he is accused of committing bank robberies. In each robbery, the suspect wore a hat with the St. Louis Cardinals logo. In Crestwood, the "Logo Bandit" is charged with robbing the PNC Bank on Watson Rd. on Dec. 15.
